This strange but beautiful object is made of redwood burl and spalted maple. The burl is full of eyes and flame, with a variety of colors from nature, and from my machination. Touching the piece finds many textures, from both carving and the innate nature of the piece of wood.
This piece is 10" tall, and 9" in diameter. It is evocative of the process of creation of human life. The price is $850.
